After three months of online voting by more than 15,000 users on www.snowstars.net, 11 out of 800 male and female candidates have been chosen to join the great finale at the White Lounge on 24 March 2009, where they will confront a prominent and competent jury. GIBBON SLACKLINE EVENT 2009
on Saturday 14 Feb 09 from 11.30 am you can check out the new trend sport "Slacklining" at the WHITE LOUNGE. Test your balance with some of the best slackliners of the "GIBBON Team". Bring your sneakers or softboots and go for it! Participation free!
Construction started!
On 25 November at 3 am the time had come: groundbreaking! Since then, 6 igloo constructors and many diligent assistants are working under the direction of construction supervisor Günther Brunner. This year, the gigantic igloos of the WHITE LOUNGE will once again set the standards in the field of igloo construction. Watch out!

Booking of overnight accomodations 2008/2009
As the opening of the WHITE LOUNGE Igloo Hotel depends on the construction progress (and the weather conditions), overnight accomodations are initially available between January 4 and April 12, 2009. However, if the construction starts early, overnight stays could be possible as early as December 2008. You will soon find more information on this page: >> reservation
Slacklining on 2,000 meters above sealevel!
On Sunday, 28 March 2010 from 10:00 am you can check out the new sport "slacklining". Test your balance and your coordination skills on the wobbly webbing. Just bring a pair of sneakers or snowboardboots and try it! For free!
Status quo: Igloos in perfect condition!
Despite unusually war temperatures especially in February, the Igloos at the White Lounge remain in excellent condition even in March thanks to constant snowmaking. Have a look yourself...
