The Ahorn, 2000 m
The White Lounge is located richt in the center of the Ahorn Plateau, 2000 meters above sea level and about 400 meters from the Ahornbahn summit station. Since the pistes and the summit station of the 8-person chairlift are nearby, it is easyily reachable via skis or snowboard. For winter hikers, we recommend our Panorama Trail which leads directly past the White Lounge. It's only a ten minutes walk from the Ahornbahn summit station to the White Lounge. The Ahorn is particularly popular for its fantastic outlooks. The panorama plattform near the White Lounge offers unique views over the Zillertal.
In only 6 1/2 minutes, Austria's largest reversible ropeway can transport up to 160 guests over three kilometers to the Ahorn Plateau. The new bottom station is located directly in the center of Mayrhofen, only 500 meters from the Penkenbahn bottom station. It guarantees for a perfect transport connection for our day guests at the White Lounge as well as for overnight guests and evening events. Thanks to its exceptional size, the Ahornbahn also provides interesting possibilities for incentives such as setting up a bar inside the cable car. |
